labtech China Congress 2024, powered by analytica China, will be held from November 18-20, 2024, at Hall N1 of the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As the extension of analytica China in laboratory planning, construction and management, this year's labtech China Congress is mainly divided into three sections: 12,000+ square meters large-scale laboratory exhibition area, laboratory industry forums and multi-theme onsite laboratory Live Lab.
In recent years, with the frequent occurrence of laboratory safety issues, laboratory safety has drawn more and more attention. For example, China's Ministry of Education issued the "Measures for the Administration of Laboratory Safety Classification in Colleges and Universities (Trial)" in 2024, and the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Carrying out Special Actions to Strengthen Laboratory Safety in Colleges and Universities" in early 2022, to effectively enhance the safety management ability and level of laboratories in universities and colleges, ensure the timely elimination of potential safety hazards, put an end to major laboratory safety accidents, and create a safe and harmonious teaching and scientific research environment. Laboratory safety management is the basic guarantee for normal laboratory work, which involves many aspects such as laboratory layout, equipment maintenance, storage of hazardous chemicals, use records of instruments and equipment, safety inspection records, laboratory management mode and management system.
The "Laboratory Safety Exhibition Area" of this year's labtech China Congress will be upgraded and opened in Hall N1 of Shanghai New International Expo Center. Focusing on "Safety, Efficiency and Sustainability", it aims to promote the optimization of EHS management standards and systems in domestic and foreign laboratory construction industries such as scientific research institutions, food, environmental monitoring, pharmacy, health care, chemical industry and government departments. It will also focus on "the harmony and development between humans and laboratories", safety and health, and help to build laboratory safety standards and evaluation systems. The "Laboratory Safety Exhibition Area" will focus on "Safety, Efficiency and Sustainability", with an exhibition area of more than 2,000 square meters. It will showcase three main directions: laboratory equipment (such as ventilation systems, disinfection and cleaning equipment, safety equipment, fire protection equipment, and security equipment), laboratory construction and protection (such as personal protective equipment, intelligent safety systems, and waste disposal), and laboratory safety training (covering topics like safety knowledge, reagent use and management, biosafety, data security, and emergency response).
"Laboratory Safety Exhibition Area" will bring innovative technologies and products in ventilation system engineering, disinfection and cleaning equipment, safety equipment, fire protection equipment, security equipment, personal laboratory equipment, and laboratory waste disposal. It will provide users with comprehensive laboratory safety solutions on the spot, promote energy conservation and carbon reduction in laboratory construction, ensure the safety of research personnel, and convey the concept of "harmonious development between people and laboratories".
